CoreNews is back with a fresh new look and feel! Check out our 2023 volume 2 edition where we hear a message from Chapter President, Ernst Calais, who reflects on the successful year we have had as a chapter hosting over 50 programs and events, and volunteering countless hours giving back to the community. We highlight some of these incredible events, sharing photos and recaps that will have you excited for this next year that will be full of gatherings. Women of CoreNet discuss their experiences at the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Event, where they rallied together and were able to raise an impressive amount of money to support in the fight against breast cancer. Our interactive CoreNet NorCal Newsletter is back! In this 2023 Volume 1 edition, we hear a message from our new Chapter President, Ernst Calais, who talks about his plans to curate and deliver a diverse range of value-added programming, relevant education, and inclusive networking to address the challenges our members face in today's market. We are pleased to present the 2022 Volume 2 edition of CoreNews, our interactive CoreNet NorCal Newsletter! In this edition, the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) committee presents a use case for universal design focused on the most marginalized users to create environments that benefit everyone. Tech SIG shares insights from industry leaders at Adobe, Twitter, Microsoft, and Disability Inclusion Solutions on the importance of equitable employee experiences in hybrid/remote-first workplaces. CoreNews Fall 2021

We are pleased to present the fourth and final 2021 edition of CoreNews, our interactive quarterly CoreNet NorCal Newsletter! In the Fall edition, the Programs Committee shares “The Seventy-Five Percent Solution,” an ambitious plan by local not-for-profit AllHome, to house 75% of the Bay Area’s unsheltered homeless population by 2024. The Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) committee shares insights from the Performance Excellence Network (PEN) on the return on investment of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in organizations and communities. Tech SIG features innovative virtual space management technologies and the Membership committee shines the spotlight on long-time CoreNet member, Jana Gunsul of DES Architects. We are pleased to present the third edition of CoreNews, our interactive quarterly CoreNet NorCal Newsletter! In the Summer 2021 edition, the End User Forum asks experts Sarah Andersen of Genentech and Thomas Reichert of Databricks to share their perspectives on the future of the workplace. Young Leaders explore the mentor-mentee relationship with helpful hints from CRE professionals in part-one of an insightful two-part series. The Chapter congratulates the 2021 Chapter CRE of the Year Honorees, and the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) committee shares inspiring testimony from a panel of experts on the impact and value of EDIB in the workplace and why it is important to CRE. We are pleased to present the second edition of CoreNews, our interactive quarterly CoreNet NorCal Chapter Newsletter! In the Spring 2021 edition, we contemplate the future with the NorCal and New England Chapter Young Leaders as they revisit a recent discussion on the next generation of office featuring Alexander Quinn (JLL), Claire Bonham-Carter (AECOM), Kelly Colon (Cresa), and Kim Giles (MovePlan Group). The Programs Committee invites Simon Davis of Impec Group and Chris Kane, author and founder of Six Ideas, to further reflect on Chris’s book “Where is My Office” and discuss developments and findings regarding the 21st century workplace.
