Congratulations to Our  2023 Winner!

In 2023 the CoreNet Global Northern California was thrilled to expand our award program with the exciting addition of a Team of the Year Award!

We are proud to announce the inaugural Team Award was won by the Cruise Garage Fleet Team.

Comprised of Cruise (Client), JLL (Broker), HGA (Architect), GBA (Permitting), Reuben, Junius & Rose (Attorney), and Skyline Construction (General Contractor), this diverse and collaborative team exemplified exceptional teamwork, customer service, and innovative real estate approach made a lasting impact. Their commitment to going above and beyond in addressing challenges, embracing new technologies, and maintaining high ethical standards exemplifies the power of collaboration and excellence in commercial real estate.
The project team built and mobilized a 55-car fleet location at a garage in the heart of San Francisco. Located at 855 Geary Boulevard, the 34,500 square foot fleet facility is housed in the Tenderloin neighborhood in a 1930s Class A historic resource building and within a high-density residential and commercial RC-4 Zoning area. In alignment with Cruise's mission, this location was selected to bridge transportation inequity, revitalize the local community, and bring life back to an otherwise overlooked building.
The team's approach to working through programming with Cruise stakeholders, producing an effective permitting strategy, and continuously collaborating allowed the team to identify critical elements that will inform and drive Cruise's future projects. The data collected from the various groups involved with this project will enable Cruise to develop a playbook for their future fleet facilities, outlining the most vital components needed - from the structure to the elements and equipment housed within each facility.
