How are Honorees Selected?
Annually our honorees are selected through an anonymous and rigorous nomination and review process. Members of the Northern California Chapter are invited to nominate their peers or self-nominate during an open call for nominations. The CRE Nominations and Selection Committee consists of a diverse group of Chapter members with years of industry and CoreNet experience as both end-users and service providers. Careful attention is placed to ensure the selection committee members include gender and ethnic diversity and a balance of end-users and service providers. Furthermore, we ensure there cannot be more than one committee member from any given company and there is an equal balance between industries. The Selection Committee carefully and consistently reviews each candidate based on the specific service provider and end-user criteria to make its final decision. The committee takes its role seriously, as this peer recognition is the greatest honor the Chapter awards to its members each year.
