Remote as a Location

07.23.2020 // On Thursday, July 23th, the CoreNet NorCal End User SIG hosted a webcast and roundtable discussion on "Remote as a Location". According to a recent Gallup poll, over 60% of Americans employed are working from home. 1 in 5 of those employees would prefer to continue working remotely once public health restrictions are lifted. As CRE leaders, we've had to become more agile in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  During this session industry leaders discussed the best practices for managing remote workers. 07.02.2020 // On June 26th, the COVID-19 End User SIG convened to discuss how a remote (and diverse) workforce is the new normal. 06.18.2020 // CoreNet NorCal’s June 18th Chapter Meeting: Digital Transformation’s Impact on Corporate Real Estate and the Workplace" featured renowned thought leaders, Steve Weikal, Head of Industry Relations, MIT Center for Real Estate and Carly Tortorelli, Senior Vice President of Workplace Technology at Impec Group. Robert Teed, Vice President of Corporate Services at ServiceNow and Immediate Past Chapter President facilitated the program which included thought-provoking presentations and a lively fireside chat. 05.07.2020 // CoreNet NorCal delivered on its commitment to innovative content delivery with a brand new event format, the “Pop-Up”. Designed to provide up to the minute thought leadership in the ever changing COVID-19 landscape, the first Pop-Up: Welcome Back to the Office was moderated by Program Committee Co-Chair Julia Campbell, Partner, Quezada Architecture. Gensler Principals, Natalie Engels and Randy Howder shared insights gained from their work with top corporate clients as well as from within their own firm. 04.30.2020 // Women of CoreNet hosted its first Zoom webinar on Thursday, April 30th with a highly relevant panel entitled Return-to-Office: CRE Leaders Sharing Experiences From Around the Globe. Moderated by Nancy Morse, Senior Managing Director, Newmark Knight Frank and Women of CoreNet Co-Chair, the program featured leading corporate real estate experts sharing insights from the front lines of planning and implementation. It also included real time polls and a chat-based Q & A that created lively audience engagement!

Life After COVID with Spencer Levy

04.16.2020 // On Thursday, April 16, the Northern California Chapter hosted it's first ever virtual chapter meeting. Members gathered virtually for a session with Spencer Levy, Chairman, Americas Research & Senior Economic Advisor at CBRE to take a look at the impact the COVID-19 crisis will have on the economy and across all sectors of real estate. The program covered the anticipated short- and long-term effects and what our recovery may look like.
