June Chapter Meeting - Bay Area Economy and Transportation Infrastructure

When:  Jun 18, 2015 from 03:30 PM to 07:00 PM (PT)
Associated with  Northern California

Introducing Part Two of the Summer Infrastructure Series:

Bay Area Economy and Transportation Infrastructure
at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon on June 18

The Bay Area has experienced strong growth since the last recession and it’s population is predicted to grow from about 7 million today to some 9 million by 2040. Maintaining our region’s quality of life will depend on making wise long-term decisions about transportation infrastructure. Our panel will discuss changes in where we live, work and play and what is needed to accommodate population growth while keeping the region affordable for all our residents, preserving open spaces, protecting our environment and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We all have a personal and professional stake in this topic and can expect a lively discussion about actions being taken in the private and public sectors.
