Communications & Digital Media Committee

About the Committee

The Communications - Digital Media Committee creates awareness of CoreNet Northern California Chapter, enhances membership retention, and communicates member benefits to our members, sponsors, and Bay Area real estate professionals. The committee oversees and manages CoreNet Global, Northern California Chapter’s social media channels.

Committee Responsibilities

We achieve these goals by elevating CoreNet Northern California's external visibility in the press and by seeking out the best tools to improve our email, website, social media, and video communications for our membership.

  • Curate chapter initiatives from leadership and distributes updates to all members via social media channels
  • Run Social Media campaigns to promote membership, chapter events, and sponsorships
  • Generate original content that showcases the amazing thought leadership and culture of the chapter

Volunteer Opportunities

The Communications - Digital Media Committee is a diverse group of professionals that lead the Chapter's communications, marketing, branding, and publicity. Our volunteers have the unique opportunity to have visibility into all other committees and have an intimate understanding of how the Chapter functions. Group members are essential to providing the chapter with a presence and voice on social media.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Membership Committee Co-Chairs, Shawn Mortensen: smorten1@steelcase.com and Amy Hanlon: amy_hanlon@gensler.com.
